Though the mountains be shaken
and the hills be removed,
yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken
nor my covenant of peace be removed,
says the LORD, who has compassion on you.
Isaiah 54:10
We made parole! The warden was sympathetic and gave us our walking papers! What a beautiful site to see the BIG gate open.
We arrived home in the night. The flight home was rough on Sandy and very exhausting for both of us. I think her electrolytes depleted throughout the flight as she was a quite unsteady on her feet and somewhat forgetful by the time we got home. Think we may have to go to emerg today to check her potassium. The doctor said for the first while we would have to get them checked 2 times a week
She was 122 lbs when we left the clinic and I lost 5 lbs!
Oh and the coffee...I tried a cup in Starbucks in San Diego airport and I couldn't drink it cause it didn't taste good. I thought this was because I don't like Starbucks, so I gave it another try in Denver airport. Got McDonald's coffee which I always buy, but turns out I didn't like that one either. I think I have been cured!! "My name is Susan and I am a recovering coffeeholic" (not that I am admitting to anything).
Sandy is very excited to see the kids today, as I am. It's so good to be back.
Anyway looking forward to fundraiser hope to see you all there!
And thank-you everyone for commenting on this blog. It was very encouraging to see when we were in the clink!
