Looking Towards Home

Hear, O LORD, and answer me,
       for I am poor and needy.
Guard my life, for I am devoted to you.

I feel the earth move under my feet!!! We are still experiencing tremors every few hours although they are just little ones (2.5s). Very cool, yes? No?

Today I was looking out and I could see a small village in the distance and the highway traffic nearby. I really felt like a caged animal needing to be freed! We are gearing up to go home but her doctor has been off the last 2 days and we can only see him at 3 pm today. He has the final word. He told me that she will have to come back in 3 months and stay for a week. The special vaccine they are making will be ready at that time as well. Sounds like they will let her bring Katie then.

Sandy is still 119 lbs this morning but she is eating well and asking for seconds. The results from the treatments are very good and they will send enough stuff with her to last the 3 months till she comes back.

There are many new faces here this week and a lot of our party buddies have left. Things for me have slowed down quite a bit because Sandy is able to go to some treatments alone, I just make sure she gets to them on time. She got some Mexican blood the other day and now she seems to be on Mexican manyana time!

I wish it was warmer here. I would spend some time in the pool. It has been cool, windy, and rainy all but one day since we've been here .We have had the heat on every night and wear sweaters all day. Anyway enough whining. I've probably just got the homesick blues especially when they tell me they are riding motorbike at home! Hope to be barbecuing by the weekend. That's All Folks!
